Apart from jointly implementing projects with other program offices of Project HOPE, Project HOPE Japan planned and implemented its own projects. In 2006, Project HOPE Japan changed its name to PH-Japan Foundation, after gaining independence from Project HOPE. During the past years, our core programs have focused on maternal and child health care in South-east Asian countries, such as Indonesia, Cambodia and Thailand. With funds from private donors and official development assistance from the Government of Japan, PH-Japan Foundation concentrates its efforts on 5 to 7 projects and operates with an annual budget of JPY 100-150 Million.
